• Nicknamed as Ice Princess, Sergeant Sic, and Sica-sama because of the cold, predominant vibe she has.
• Jessica is often considered as a real-life tsundere; A tsundere is a Japanese manga/anime character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing their warm side over time.
• Jessica was born in San Francisco, California. After street-casted by SM Entertainment when she was 11 year-old, she and her family moved to South Korea.
• Jessica trained for more than seven years before debuting with SNSD, making her the one who trained longest among the nine members.
